Calibration pings are necessary to find out about the congestion of the
connection. cFosSpeed can NOT work without them.

Since these Pings have TTL=2, they NEVER reach our webserver.
They are discarded on their way after 2 hops.

cFosSpeed calibration pings will always return to its sender
before reaching their destiantion.

cFosSpeed does NOT spy on you!

In addition, you can change the ping destination address.
To do this just change the destination, set ping_dest in [param]
section of cfosspeed.ini like this:

[param]
ping_dest=193.99.144.71

The destination IP must be in dotted form and must be a real public ip
address outside of your home lan.

Hint:
If your are using a firewall please be sure that
CFOSPEED.EXE and SPD.EXE have acces to the external network.
