cfos speed let the computer reboot again and again
27.07.2010 at 17:22:19

OS:win 2003 x86
Language:Simplified Chinese(It doesnt the matter)
Router:Netgear
Cfos speed version:5.12 and 5.13.1686
Problem:
After installed cfos speed, tested OK,OS was stable.
But if I reboot pc after the first run of cfos speed,
the os can not in to desktop, although I had diselcted the option of RTP.
So I think it should be the problem of the driver conflicting with cfos driver.

Any solutions?
TIA

what do you mean by RTP?

what other driver do you use, which is in conflict with cfosspeed? what operating system do you use?

I reviewed some suggestion on internet,so diselected the option of RTP in cfos speed.
Operating System:windows server 2003 x86 sp2 simplified chinese
I dont know how to check driver conflicting, just a guess, not sure, and maybe not the problem of drivers.

I tried to not allow the service of stp at the PC start up,and then start the service of stp but still let my pc reboots..

I check all the startup service and only java, eset ess,no others.I have put cfos into exclusion sector in eset and followed the instruction on cfos website to set the eset nod32.

Ping and tracert are quite normal.

I dont know why.

right now I dont let stp.exe and cfosspeed run.OS is stable.
in local connection, cfos speed for faster Internet connections(NDIS 5) is running.

I need a low ping value to servers, and the trafic shaping.
Any ideas?

I hope your stp.exe is not this:

File Behavior

STP.EXE has been seen to perform the following behavior:

The Process is packed and/or encrypted using a software packing process
Found on infected systems and resists interrogation by security products
Creates a new Background Service on the machine
Uses low level functions to hide itself from the user and from system/security processes
Uses rootkit techniques to conceal its presence, interrogation or removal
Executes a Process
Adds products to the system registry
STP.EXE has been the subject of the following behavior:

Created as a new Background Service on the machine
Executed as a Process
Copied to multiple locations on the system
Created as a process on disk
Deleted as a process from disk
Country Of Origin

The filename STP.EXE was first seen on Sep 16 2007 in the following geographical regions of the Prevx community:

Russian Federation on Sep 16 2007
Netherlands on Dec 19 2007
on May 31 2008
Ukraine on Oct 4 2008
China on Jun 24 2009

Thank you.uninstalled 1687 and reboot
installed 1688 and reboot
OS crashed again and again, can into window 2003,but during the start music, reboot.
Into security mode,disallowed spd.exe service,reboot,no crash.cfosspeed.exe,and NDIS 5 at normal status.
So it's caused by spd.exe maybe.

Favour Ping Time
No select:

Followed your instruction twice.
But not dump got.totally no files.

Reboot crash still there.
Sometimes can into windows without any problem, but after reboot , it crashed again after into windows the login dialog or before the dialog.

Driver conflicting?
