For each charging station, you can also enter users and create charging rules. Furthermore, users can also enter charging rules for themselves.
To enter new users, you must enter the administrator password. The corresponding dialogue is located below the entry of RFID/PIN. Currently you can only enter PINs. Click "Add user" to create a new user. The system automatically generates a new PIN for the user. You can also assign a name. You can enter further PINs for this user in the green field (save by clicking on the + sign). The user can also do this himself without a password. Click on the cross at the top right of the PIN to delete it.
Now you can assign users to each wallbox by editing the corresponding wallbox in the configuration dialogue and entering one of the user's PINs. The PIN determines the user. However, all PINs entered by the user can enable charging.
Every few seconds, the Charging Manager evaluates the charging rules assigned to the wallbox and those of the users stored for this wallbox. Each set of charging rules for the wallbox and for the user is searched in the order entered. As soon as a charging rule applies, it is applied and all subsequent rules are ignored. This happens for the rule set for the wallbox and the rule set for the user. If both a wallbox rule and a user rule apply, the Charging Manager takes the smaller charging power.
For each rule, you can specify the days of the week for which it should apply.
There are 3 types of rules:
Time | The rule applies from the set start time to the set end time |
Input | The rule applies when a digital input is set or deleted |
Solar | The rule applies when the solar power (the sum of all producer meters) is above a certain threshold |
Each rule contains a "Power" value and a mode.
The meaning of this "Power" value can be switched depending on the mode, in
Absolute | The value is considered as absolute wattage for charging |
In Percent | The value is the percentage of the maximum power of the wallbox (here you would possibly go to percentage of solar power in a later software update) |
Production Power Absolute | The value is ignored and the total solar power is taken as the charging power |
Production Power in Percent | The value indicates a percentage of the solar power |
Production minus Power | Charging power is equal to solar power minus fixed value |
The Charging Manager interprets the result of the evaluation as a "wish" of the charging station for a certain charging power. This is distributed to the charging vehicles according to the available charging power.
You can e.g. with this system allow charging only within certain times:
Rule 1: Time: From 8:00 to 12:00 "In Percent" 100
Rule 2: Time: From 0:00 to 23:59 "Absolute" 0
Rule 1: Solar, 3000 W solar power, "Production minus Power" 1000, so charge when at least 3kW solar power is available, but always leave 1kW for the rest of the household.
