Initial startup

The cFos Power Brain Wallbox has a web interface with which you can make further settings in the Charging Manager. When you switch on the wallbox, the cFos Power Brain Controller starts a WLAN hotspot that you can dial into with a WLAN-enabled device. Then open your web browser and enter http://192.168.4.1 as the address to call up the configuration dialogues. There, the browser first asks for the user name and password for the WLAN hotspot. The user name is "admin" (all lower case), the password is empty (or "1234abcd"). A password is also required to use the configuration UI. The default is again user admin and password 1234abcd.

The first thing you should do is install a software update.

To do this, click on "Configuration" in the menu at the top, scroll down to "WLAN Station" and activate the "Activate" switch to enable logging into your WLAN. Then select the SSID, i.e. your network ID, and enter your WLAN password.

Now scroll all the way down and click on "Save" to save all these settings. 1-2 minutes later, the cFos Power Brain Wallbox should have dialled into your WLAN.

When the cFos Power Brain Controller is connected to your WiFi, make sure to write down the assigned IP address so you can log in later. You can find it after the text "connected as" under "WiFi Station".

Then scroll down to "Firmware Update" and click on "Check for new version".
Accept the licence conditions and then click on "Update now".

After a successful update, the version number appears with the date and time of the last update.

To make sure that the settings are saved and the process was successful, it is best to reload the page in your browser.
