Note: In the first firmware version 1002, all dialogues are in English. With the firmware update, you will receive dialogues in German and will incorporate all the latest improvements.
The cFos Power Brain 11kW Wallbox has a web interface with which you can make further settings. When it is switched on, the cFos Power Brain Controller starts a WiFi hotspot that you can connect to with a WiFi-enabled device. A WiFi password is required for this. The default password is 1234abcd.
If you connect to the cFos Power Brain 11kW Wallbox with your mobile phone, this can lead to the problem (depending on the mobile phone) that your mobile phone repeatedly interrupts the connection and connects back to the domestic WiFi. In this case, you must delete the access data for the domestic WiFi on your mobile phone. This is only necessary once during the first installation. If your cFos Power Brain has the access data to the domestic WiFi, all future actions are easier.
Then open your web browser and enter http://192.168.4.1 as the address to call up the configuration dialogues. There, the browser first asks for username and password. Username is admin (all lower case) and you can leave the password field blank.
To do this, click on "cFos Power Brain Config" at the top of the menu, scroll down to "WiFi Station" and activate the switch "enable" to enable logging into your WiFi. Then select the SSID, i.e. your network ID, and enter your WiFi password. Then scroll down to "Firmware Update" and enter here:http://www.cfos-emobility.de/powerbrain/release/LATEST
Then scroll all the way to the top and click "Save" to save all this setting. 1-2 minutes later, the cFos Power Brain 11kW Wallbox should have connected to your WiFi.
If you now scroll down to "Firmware Update", you can click "Check for Update". The current version and the available version will be displayed. Then click "Update Now". This will install the new software version and restart the wallbox. "Rebooting..." appears. After a few seconds, you can reload the page in your browser using F5 and have the new software version. This offers, among other things, operation in German. The next software update will then also run much more easily
cFos Power Brain 11kW is charging only with minimum power?
The default value for "Cable override" is incorrectly set to 0 in the current version. This means that a connected car is only charged with minimum power. Please enter 16000 there if you do not want a different setting.
