技術的な背景
TCP Auto-Tuningは、接続の開始時およびデータが送信された場合に、接続のRTTを測定します。受信データのみで送信データのない接続では、この測定が不正確になり、結果としてRWINが小さくなりすぎてしまいます。光インタネットの50Mbit/sの接続や4Gや5Gの無線アクセスポイント接続など、高速のインターネット接続と短い遅延時間があれば、この動作を簡単に確認することができます。

多くのユーザーは、インターネット接続で利用可能な最大速度を達成していません。多くの場合、Windows 7/ Windows VistaのTCP/IPの自動チューニングでは、完全なダウンロード速度を利用できません。通常の場合、ダウンロードプログラムは、通常の高速接続用に作成されていません。 cFosSpeedのRWIN拡張は、現在、TCP/IP接続の受信ウィンドウサイズを現在の接続に適した値に動的に拡張することにより、これらのダウンロードを高速化します。これにより、予期しない速度の改善につながります！
たとえば、Internet Explorerでダウンロード速度を2倍にし、モバイルUMTSダウンロードの速度をほぼ3倍にすることができます。
